Drafts and accounts

Anonymous drafts and image files are stored in this browser. When you sign in and save or publish, your account and website content are stored using Firebase, and photographs are stored privately in Cloudflare R2. Vercel hosts the application. Clearing browser data removes locally stored drafts.

Sharing and access

Published personal websites are excluded from search indexing. An unprotected link is accessible to anyone who receives it. Optional passwords add access protection, but shared content is not end-to-end encrypted. Guests can forward links, disclose passwords, or download photographs.

Photos and responses

Uploaded photographs are processed to remove embedded metadata and stored in a private bucket. Authorized viewers receive temporary image links. Guest names, responses, counts, notes, preferred dates, and location suggestions are stored for the creator. Guest responses are not publicly listed.

Services and browser storage

Authentication and access use browser storage and secure cookies. Public response forms store an anonymous browser token to update your response. Abuse prevention uses hashed network identifiers. Infrastructure providers may process request logs. Personal sites do not load advertising scripts. Public examples use externally hosted illustrative photographs; interface fonts are self-hosted by the application.

Removing a website

You can unpublish to stop new website access, or delete the site and its associated photographs. Temporary image links can remain usable until expiry. Previously downloaded content cannot be recalled.
